Big bluestem is a stunning perennial grass to add drama to any native plant garden. It can reach 4 to 6 feet in height, and works well as an accent plant.  If given the right conditions it will flower and set seed in the first year.

🦋 Host plant for the Delaware Skipper (Anatrytone logan) and the Dusted Skipper (Atrytonopsis hianna) butterflies.

For germination instructions see the Seed Treatments page.
