Long headed Anemone is a member of the Buttercup family. It has white flowers in early summer, followed by thimble-shaped seed heads that burst into balls of fluff in late fall. The seed heads are the source of its other common names: Thimbleweed and Cottonweed. A good plant for garden interest. ⁣
