Blue-stemmed goldenrod is a wonderful addition to a shady corner. While we commonly think of goldenrods as a full sun species, Blue-stemmed goldenrod and Zigzag goldenrod both prefer a shade to part shade location. Unlike Canada goldenrod it is not aggressive.
